I love the people on this website, your stories are so much fun to hear 

You're still a youngster to me and you're also getting to read the stories from the collectors that still consider me a youngster at nearly 40. This site is great b/c of the members of all ages (and Admin for listening to our suggestions)! I hope the stories and info that you read here help you to have a spectacular collection and a successful business as well. As always, if you ask questions here, you will get answers and replies. I have been a member of the Beckett website for nearly 15 years now and this site is so much better than that site has ever been.

Not too long ago, realized I had a LeBron James rookie, Ichiro and Pujols Topps rookies, Paul Konerko Topps Traded rookie, and a few others.  The more disheartening part is when you look through your formerly "valuable" collection after 20 years and realize that all of those 1991 Stadium Club and 1990 Leaf cards I hoarded (John Olerud, Greg Vaughn, Sheffield, Thomas, etc.) aren't really worth squat anymore (but I still LOVE both of those sets).  

I used to when I was a kid. IN the house I grew up in we used the utiltiy room that had our clothes washer and dryers that also housed the water heater as a catch-all storage room. You name it stuff went into that room. At one point the only thing(s) you could get to in the room was the clothes machines on the wall to the right and the water heater (that was behind and to the side of the door) the rest of the room was boxes strune about and some shelving. I rediscovered some cards from there, but they were usually cards I had previously been aware of, I don't remember if there were any real "discoveries" made there. 

Since I now live in an apartment (2nd floor) there is no "basement" to make any discoveries. My apartment complex is of the "garden" design, open air stairways no on-site "storage" units that you find in some apartment complexes (usually high-rises). Any new discoveries are the common kind of going through a disorganized section of the PC and rediscovering "forgotten" cards.
