One of the card shops I frequent on a somewhat regular basis was robbed Monday night. This is the second time in the past year this shop has been hit. In addition, two other shops in the Twin Cities have been hit by burglaries in the past three weeks!!! This is heartbreaking. I know the owners of Twin Cities Sports Cards well and consider them friends. They are retired and are doing this for the enjoyment of all of us. Rob and Mark always give me fair prices and a frequent customer discount. They are very nice to younger collectors as well. I cant imagine being in their shoes. Here is the article on this with news story...if anyone has any information please let the authorities know:

Robbery & theft is just terrible whenever. It's upsetting to see that it looks like these shops are being targeted. I hope they catch the person/people who did this and prosecute them to the fullest.

That stinks. Theft makes me angry. I know a local shop to me was hit last year. A little different since it was a guy posing as a collector that wrote a check for 10K worth of merchandise which turned out to be a bogus account.
