This weekend I sold an Aaron Judge insert on Ebay for over $50. Yet, I put up a NrMt 1963 Lenny Moore (HOFer for you kids) for $1.99 and he doesn't sell. Btw, that's a 54 year old card for the mathematically challenged. Okay, you tell me what is wrong with this picture? The responses should be interesting.

I put it on the insane hype of the potential of the modern day player. People never learn from there mistakes. Remember how much the cards went for in the 80's?

People are insane now-days. They tend to have very short term memory and any event over 10 years ago, unless it was a huge thing like 11 Sept 2001 they don't remember it. Celebrities are only remembered if they are currently doing some reality TV show and athletes are only remembered if they are the current record breaker.

This is how a card dealer got me involved buying T-209 and Goudy cards. These guys are sure bets the new guys are not. What they paying for Brett and Yount rookies i can sell them Cobb, Chase and a bunch of others. He sold me a T-209 Cobb batting peidmont back My 1st tabacco card.

I'd love to buy some tobacco cards, but I am so afraid of a counterfeit that I don't. Am I insane? Is there a way I can feel more confident?
