I'd like to get people's opinions of your favorite sites to visit for buying, selling or trading (beyond TCDB, of course!) This might already be a thread somewhere, but I haven't seen it lately and probably needs an update anyway if there is.
I'll start.
ebay
amazon
dacardworld
bcwsupplies (for supplies, obviously)
comc
justcommons
craigslist
facebook marketplace
Where else? Feel free to plug your own if you have one!

Sportlots also. You can usually find non common cards at a decent price.

For older cards (pre-80s), I like California Sports Cards. Decent selection and prices.

Sportlots is certainly one I would add and I know a lot of people like Blowout Cards as well.

sportlots.com. Since ebay added a customs charge to all international buyers, I haven't gone looking there. There is no customs on sports cards but ebay still charges it. My thoughts on ebay - a good thing gone bad due to greed.

I've found a lot of stuff at Sportlots, and really like their commons prices, but don't not care for their shipping practices. I prefer buying from a few places in the marketplace, AU Sports Memorabilia and The Collector's Friend. I get commons for twice the price of Sportlots, but their free shipping offers tilt the experience towards the marketplace once you've reached the threshold. Sportlots has its interpretation of threshold, and that is what washes out the 18-cent common price in my opinion.

The only way to keep costs down on sportlots is to take the time to figure out how to maximize the amount you can get from as few sellers as possible. It's like playing a math game. As a math major, I don't mind. I can see how it would frustrate others. You load up your cart with 100 cards for $18.00 and then you realize it's 20 different sellers, at an average of $2 a seller and now you're adding $40 to your $18 lot of commons.
There are some methods to figure out price per card. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. :)

Funny that you mention The Collector's Friend. The physical store is half way between my house and my office, so whenever I need something and see that they have it, I get super excited to save on shipping costs!
I buy a lot from sportslots, comc, and of course eBay. Occasionally I find good deals on Amazon, although many of the sports cards on there are actually housed at comc and you can get a better deal by going direct through them. I collect mostly variation cards, so not many sites even have what I'm looking for.

Always looking for baseball variation/error cards and anything Garrett Whitley or Ian Anderson
