I haven't stirred the pot in a while and the last time I looked it was starting to congeal, so here goes. The front of this card says "Judge Landis" not "Kenesaw Landis". Back says "Kenesaw Mountain Landis". As I kid in the 50s I had always heard him referred to as "Judge Landis" or "Kenesaw Mountain Landis" but never Kenesaw Landis. So either call him Judge Landis or Kenesaw Mountain Landis on the data base, but not Kenesaw Landis which is neither on the front or back of the card. I will check back later, I have to out back and milk the elk.

I must say that Kenesaw Mountain Landis sounds so much better than Faye Vincent. A very manly name!

I always refer to him as Judge Landis in casual conversation. And I've never seen a photo of him where he didn't look like he was about to send someone to the electric chair. I really need to go visit his grave next time I'm in Chicago. Also, I agree with Joe. PID should be the full name.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I agree we should use his full name. I enjoy reading about early baseballand baseball history, and I've never seen him referred to as Kenesaw Landis. Judge Landis is used alot, but it's more of a title than a nickname.

Name on card should be name in set's checklist. PID number for the person should be in the PID field on the edit name page.
PID should have full name, and all Aliases that can be used can now be listed for that PID.
This goes for all cards.

Now isn't this fun? Love all the comments and opinions. This is what baseball is about.
