How do i add a complete set to my collection, with out having to add each card one by one?

On the sets main page, after you select it from the search menu, there is a "Collection Summary" box to the right hand side. If you click there and go down to "Cards" you will see an option to "Add/Update." Click there and where it says "Choose an Action" with a drop down menu, you can select the option to "Add all cards in this set to your collection"

I normally hit the option underneath that one "Add all cards without VAR/ERR in this set to your collection" then go through it and clean it up where it needs to be.

isnt there an option under the "unopened" material?

i know of the option for complete set but is there one for complete series as it is a pain to add half a set

Use the "Add from here..." option.
