My post got lost too. Congrats on the 2K mark! You'll reach Level 8 before you think it can happen if you just continue to contribute. I remember that "cnangle" said that every 1K points is worth celebrating. Celebrate that two times and you should get into the "Top 100 Members" list! Eventually, you will stop thinking about every thousand points and only celebrate every 5K points. I haven't hit the spot of only thinking about every 10K yet, but I'm betting that will happen when I hit 50K (hopefully by New Year's Day). If you pay attention to it, your driving force for points will be the next person in front of you on the Top Members List.
I'm at #23 now and check it weekly to see how close everyone around me is to passing me or being passed.
