The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

Ouch. So the Hockey gods got angry at you? yeah a back injury tends to keep one away from being able to handle card collections and organize the monster boxes. Monster boxes ease some of the cardboard madness.

Glad you're doing better now Robert!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Doesn't take much to ruin a good back. Good one minute, horrendous the next. Watch how you bend and lift. Gets worse as you get older. Get well soon.
