So I'm happily logging my recent purchase onto our database, discovering some nice finds for both my personal collection and trade bait, when I see the back of the Jack Morris RC (I look at the backs because of the set information needed for logging). Usually that's enough to spur me to start collecting star players on teams I don't root for but respect for their indivual accomplishments. That USUALLY happens, but not this day.
I turn the card over and notice that a previous owner, probably a snotty nosed kid, has drawn a goatee on Tim Jones and written some unreadable comment over Morris's head, thus ruining a perfectly good rookie card. That person, kid or not, would definitely be a case for corporal punishment. Sheesh.
