I read your first post and was going to answer with congratulations and that I need both that card and the Ernie Davis. You beat me to the punch with that comment too!
Congrats on the pickup. I'm very jealous.

28 years ago, my wife told me "either the cards go or I go". Yup, still got my cards. And they don't talk back.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

And that's all I need. And the occasional dating routine, yes, even at my age. The best part of dating at my age is most of the babes are younger!. Women I wouldn't look at when I was 25, someone say 50, is looking pretty darn good to this old fellow. LIke most things in life, it's all relative.

OMG, You guys are something else, LOL. I am the wife and I'm in it up to my ears. I've been lucky because my husband doesn't say too much about my card collecting activities. I've been collecting cards since the early 80's and I've collected them, lost them in a few different storage places because I couldn't pay the bill, collected them again, then had to sell them to live, collected them again, then lost a majority of them because the shed they were in leaked and I didn't know it until it was too late, collected them yet again and that's where I am today. Hopefully the cycle ends here, but if not I'll still collect them again. It's what I do.

Congrats on the pickup. I love black bordered set and that's one of my favorites. My Sam Huff (from that set) is one of my favorite cards in my collection.

Nice pick up. When I pick up a card I'm excited about, my wife just gives me those looks like "if your happy. I'm happy for you" as she rolls her eyes.
