Why not just keep them and put all your 1975 and earlier Baseball and Football cards in them ?  

Not trying to sound snobish but I only use nice ones for my collection. I have so many extras that I am just trying to give them a good home. Not trying to make any money. That is exact postage.

Earlier this week I tossed my own menagerie of scuffed, taped and otherwise less than savory top loaders in the garbage.  Your offier is kind of a tough "sell" I think (even though they are pretty much free).  Admittedly, herko, I am of the same mind as you; I want the ones for my collection to be shiny and new.  Not snobbish, just particular.  Nothing wrong with that!

When I get too many of them, I trade mine to a case-breaker I know for some cards he's trying to sell. Mine aren't usually in too bad of shape either.

I can help you make the shipping cheaper though. Go to usps.com and order some Flat Rate Priority Regional boxes (A and B). They hold more than a Medium FR and cost only $6.60 to ship. The Regional A is good up to 15 pounds and the B is good for 20 pounds. They can't go cross-country though. I've used them twice and stuffed them full of toploaders of all sizes, penny sleeves and team bags and only got to about 6lbs. of weight. And I saved $7 each time.
