Yesterday, though briefly, I met a second member from this site, Tdorsey. This was through a transaction that by meeting, we kept the money for shipping out of the pockets of Canada Post. Forty kms (25 miles) west of where I am, it was easy to arrange a meeting to make a quick exchange. Trevor has decided to focus only on O Pee Chee products but in all sports and non-sports. So 383 of my cards all but 5 that were not baseball exchanged hands. I'd like to say that I put a major dent in Trevor's want list but by now I think Trevor has realized that even just focussing on that one brand, it is still a huge amount of cards to search for. But that is the joy of the hobby, isn't it, finding those elusive cards?
Great guy, if you ever have reason to be driving on the north side of Lake Ontario, stop in Cobourg and look him up. Come through with a box of O Pee Chee cards and I am sure he will make every effort to meet you.

Mike from Peterborough. He got about 3,000 cards from me in exchange for what baseball he had that I needed. I could drive to Peterborough 10 times for what the post office would have charged to deliver. There is a card show next Sunday in Cobourg where Trevor lives but unfortunately for him he has to work. Maybe Mike will make it down.

First I thought...PHOTO! Where's a photo? Then I had an idea for a subset or insert set for my next set of cards.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I would love to meet a member this year. Seems like there are quite a few members in Maryland, so an in-person trade is a possibility.
