Thank you for the quick replies on my last question! Heres another for you! I am trying to scan in any card I have that doesnt yet have one.  Just now running into my first die-cut. It is a 2012 Prominence Luke Kuechly auto. I will include a scan. 

How do you go about cropping the scan? I have so far had scans rejected for very minor cropping flaws. am I supposed to carefully crop around the die-cut? Whats a guy to do??? haha.

Edit...Tried to post the card picture, but again, like I said on my last post, not super computer literate, and it looks like I cant just post from my picture folder on my computer, so oh well!

I went ahead and added it to the set. Im guessing it wont pass the test, but if someone would look at it and give me a hint as to what I should do I would really appretiate it. Thanks!

Believe it or not, you aren't the only member in Alaska who's a regular hrre. 

Scanning die cuts can be a pain. I do them with regular cards, with the green background, BUT an oversized index card behind them. The scanner cuts off edges otherwise. I'm not sure if I talk about it my scanning tips (link in sigline) but I will add it in if not. I do this same process for clear plastic cards as well.

The top edge is washed out because of the white.  You need to put some contrasting color sheet behind it so all the border edges/cuts can be seen.  I usually use green.

I personally don't like seeing extra colors behind the diecuts, so I usually just do mine like the rest of the cards I do for here, lid closed, white background.

I then, adjust it if crooked, and using the card, see how to crop without cropping out the actual card. Always best to leave a little extra (another member who has extra time can try to crop further). And I'm not talking an inch extra. I'm talking maby a 1/32 to 1/64 of an inch.
