I have recently just gotten into listening to podcasts. Can anyone recommend some good ones? In particular, for baseball cards or baseball in general.
Also, are there some that are available only for iPhone? I am downloading using Google Play for my Samsung, but I can't seem to find some of the podcasts that other Apple users have mentioned.
Thanks!

Two of my favorites are Tony Kornheiser and Dan Le Batard. Kornheiser is a podcast and Le Batard is just his ESPN Radio show. I would say they are sports adjacent, with more comedic elements.

I have a ton of windshield time and listen to a good number of podcasts. I haven't found much in the way of card podcasts.
For Apps with podcasts to pick from I mainly use only two. Stitcher and Podcast One. Both have a ton of great content and I'm sure you will be able to find some gems. Stitcher app has a ton of shows and is easy to use. The podcast one app is not very user friendly but the content is good it's worth the aggravation. Both apps can search for shows by category or name or specific keywords on stitcher
In regard to baseball I have a couple Brewers only podcasts I listen to or Blackhawks only for hockey so not sure what you are looking for there.
I'm finding new shows all time on the apps to listen to. Searching is like a treasure hunt!!!

I think Admin should do a podcast

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Beckett radio does a podcast pretty much weekly. I've listened to Wax Ecstatic a few times as well as Sports Card Radio, who also has an R-rated sportscard podcast. There's a great podcast for vintage football collectors called Gridiron Greats Magazine podcast. It's supposed to be on twice a month but that doesn't happen often, still it is by far my favorite that I've found so far. I even ordered a few of the actual Gridiron Greats magazines (when they include anything about my woeful Washington football team) which are also very interesting reads.

Haha I feel like Admin would use one of those effects to cloak their voice. Admin is a phantom. I still wonder if Admin has a more familiar alter ego here... hmm
I was a big wrestling fan growing up. I don’t watch wrestling anymore and haven’t in a long time, but I still find myself following the results online to stay in the loop. The world of the wrestling business in general has always fascinated me, and one of my favorite wrestlers growing up was Chris Jericho.
I enjoy listening to his podcast Talk is Jericho while I’m in my cube doing paperwork. I know you mentioned baseball mainly but figured I would share one that I find interesting in case anyone else might want to check it out.

I've subscribed to a couple of baseball podcasts, which I now listen to in my car during my drive home.
One is a new show by Dan Schulman called "Swing and a Belt". He currently does some play-by-play for the Blue Jays, so each episode features Jays content, but he also has quite a history with ESPN and MLB, so he covers a nice variety of topics. In the first few episodes he has interviewed Terry Francona, CC Sabathia, David Cone, and Chris Archer. He also has a segment called Voices of the Game in which he interviews notable baseball broadcasters, such as ESPN's Chris Singleton and Indians play-by-play guy Tom Hamilton. It broadcasts every Thursday, and I highly recommend checking it out!

I just found out that Super 70s Sports does a podcast. I’m looking forward to checking it out. He’s probably the funniest guy on Twitter.

If I had the time, I would do a podcast. But as The Guess Who said, “I got, got, got, got no time.” One I listen to is Bmore Opinionated, mainly because one of the guys on there is one of my sports broadcasting mentors, Jerry Coleman.
