I have no idea where there are two Brewers TID's. That 1st Brewers link should be merged into the TID 16. The Miami Marlins is a different story though. There are 2 different ones not associated with each other. But there is a mess in TID 4124. Satchel Paige should be listed there, but those other cards are current players and should be linked to the TID 681.

Both are two different teams. One Major League and one Minor League. The minor league Marlins were in the International League (1956-1960) and the Brewers were in the American Association (1902-1952).

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Is there a differentiation field available for teams that have the same name like there is for people? If not, should there be?

Right now we have 3 TIDs for Miami Marlins. There should probably be only 2, 1 for the major league Marlins 1 for the minor league Marlins. I don't think there's a need to seperate the FSL Marlins from the IL Marlins.
Right now, there's 2 TIDs for the Milwaukee Brewers, but they need to be seperated. We should have one for the ML Brewers and one for the American Association Brewers.

I see why there is a different team ID for the stituations noted with different leagues, time frames, etc but in the case/set or series of sets why would Ryan Braun be the only Brewer separated as a different team ID onl a 2018 set or the current Miami Marlins players be separated as well on the current set?
i might be missing something....

The best bet is alert Admin of what you are seeing. Then not only can the teams on the cards be fixed, but if there is some problem with the underlying code to get the right team ID in place, that can be fixed as well.

Are some of the cards in the set linked to the wrong TID, i.e., Major League cards linked to the Minor League team?
If so, the TID just needs to be corrected on the Edit Team page for the card(s) in question.

That explains the Brewers one for me. I was pretty confused by that. I didn't know about the minor league team.
It's odd how some things here link to one thing when it should be another. Even odder to me is how some cards won't link to the only thing with that ID. My example happened yesterday with a Shaquille O'Neal card. It was a non-sport card for the KaZaam movie and a Donruss prototype. The card was listed here, but wasn't linked to Shaq. When I used the Add Name Links, it still wouldn't link to him. I ended up just having to search his name and get the PID that way to add using Edit Name. His name was spelled right, so I don't know why it wouldn't link to him. I'm guessing b/c it was a non-sport card that it couldn't crossover from sports.
