There is a blogger, Gavin (defgav), who colelcts players from his school  and I considered it but I think to add a high school option in the player's bio would be requiring a lot of updating and verifying. Multiple schools with similar names makes it more difficult. I like BucCollector's idea for a personal list, my school has been a sports power house in Arizona and has won over 50 state titles since the school opened in 1976.

I agree with others that it might be too much of a mess to add it.  It took a while before you could link players to multiple colleges so just imagine if a player went to multiple schools.  I like the idea of lists because it would be a nice way for people to show pride in their schools, but unfortunately, nobody from my school ever went beyond the college level.  I do know a couple guys from the next town over who made the minors and have cards and a guy who was in the Saints preseason camp but he never got a card.

My vote if I get one is just use lists.  It would be fun when a few are created to see how many came from certain schools.  It would also be helpful to see ones from Missouri schools if I ever decide to dedicate more time to my other blog and collection of athletes associated with Missouri.

Everybody makes interesting pros & cons. I still like the idea. User lists is always a back door way of doing it, I guess. It would be pretty much for the User only however. I couldn't see famous athletes for instance that graduated from Xxxxxx HS in Xxxxx, NJ. Right? Good commentary, ~BOB~

I don't believe anyone from my school has made it to the pros in any of the main sports. There was a person who played professional soccer in Europe and an Olympian from the London games who did not get any cards that I am aware of. Kind of surprising considering it's a pretty darn big one. The other high school in the district has Joe Panik in MLB.  I'd like to get a card of him at some point. Even though the schools are technically rivals I'm just happy a local guy made it big.

Tom Sunkel (MLB) probably went to Paris High School.  And I guess I had a card in the C2Cigars set last year.
