To the Admin that run this freakin’ awesome site:

I would LOVE an easier way to build larger trades. When I match up with someone’s Wantlist, I wish it would display ALL matching cards from ALL sports/categories, and show it as one giant checklist. The checklist can feature boxes like the ones they just added to our transactions page (to check off when pulling cards for trade). Then, just check the box next to all the cards you want to add to the trade you are building. 

Right now, when building a trade, we have to hit: edit/add/match/sport/set/card

That is 6 buttons/page loads for each set we add to a trade. That means I have to hit around 150 buttons and wait for the 150 page loads if someone has cards from 25 different sets I need in trade. 

My solution would knock that all the way down to 3. (It would also limit ad views I suppose.)

If this already exists, please clue me in!

I would like this as well. Last year I traded every single non-sports card I had listed to Bobzcards, over 1100 cards. Took me hours to build that trade.

I have a feeling that the simpler the process for us the WAY more work, money, hardware, etc it is for the Admin/Owners. I myself have pledged the minimum of $5/mo to be ad free to help them in some way. If ad revenue is a reason for all the utton clicks, is not $60 a year (more for us not in the US) worth it? Not dumping just looking at all sides of the request. I have not done trades YET but will but by the sounds of the above I may not start, I may be even bigger on the OLD SCHOOL trades than I thought. =/

Please DO trade!  It is worth it. Plus, we can always use more great traders!

This has been suggested many times over the years.  Update to the Transaction Manager has been on Admin's To Do List for a long, long time.

WOW....! Like that idea. I prefer to trade large lots ......more dupes traded out to add cards I don't have. C'mon Cigars you must have some kinda pull, go for it.

I can only assume Admin is trying to figure out the best way to streamline the trade process.  Including the technical issues.  Of course, trading is secondary to the site's primary purpose...a database.  So it probably keeps getting pushed back in their list of things to do.

I haven't started trading yet, still logging my collection into the database. But I have found that when adding my wantlist as I go, instead of single clicking (ad to wantlist) each card, and waiting for each card to load. I hold down the control button, and click (add to wantlist) on each card going down the checklist, until I have all the cards from that set, that I want added to my wantlist. All cards are then loaded at the same time with only one load cycle. Not sure if this will work when trying to build trades, but definitely worth a try.
