I can't speak for everyone who reviews the Inaccuracy Reports (IR), but I have communicated with one other member, and the worst ones to try to resolve are the ones titled "Possble Missing Set". I'm not sure if members are asking for these because they have them and want add images, or if they just find something advertised somewhere else and think it should be added here, but no matter why, the biggest problem we have in trying to resolve these is proof of existence / checklists. Unfortunately, the form for the request does not have a spot for entering anything other than Year, Set Name, Type, Number of Cards, & Size. No way of entering notes or urls of proof. We need your help so we can help you.

I am starting this thread to assist in gathering that information. Let's try to keep the number of different sets being resolved to a minimum. Let's copy out the info from the IR, and request additional info.

First one, is the oldest on our list:

I'm not a super sleuth. I don't know how some people on here find the information they do so quickly.

But doing some basic research on this set, a checklist may be difficult to assemble. To begin with, the set contained either a 1909-11 T206 card or a Historic Original Art Card encased with a cut signature of the player. I'm guessing the black back was some sort of parallel, but the actual "base" set here had 88 cards, from what I saw.

I only saw one link on a forum for a checklist, and it no longer works (was supposed to go to the Historic Autographs website). I also see some info for a set based on 1933 Goudey cards (same company, same year).

I'm going to be a parrott here and echo Dan, but yeah, whoever submitted this please let us know where this came from, because there doesn't seem to be a solid lead on Google anywhere. To wrap things full circle, I did offer a disclaimer that I suck at researching things, so maybe I'm missing something :)

Dan, is there an acutal form to be filled out that creates "Possible Missing Set" If so how does one find it. I get totally from your description what it looks like, but is there a link you can provide for it? I am searching around and can't find where this is. 

You must be of a level (Level 6 or higher) where you can add sets yourself, so you won't see this form. If a member of Level 5 or lower tries to Add a set, they get a page that asks for that info, and then it's submitted to the IR.
