I'm trying to move "up the ladder". I tried and submitted yesterday Sunday 6/3.

I was curious of the same thing.  I was trying to move up the ladder(or down I guess you say), I'd like to be able to help out.  I've submitted a couple images for cards that were missing, which seemed to work, but i'm not able to edit the cards that "need fixing"  I still have the Get access button for image processing.  

There is no "Quiz" for this one. Once enough scans are accepted from you, and a combonation of membership length, ADMIN grants you the permission.

I haven't been here very long at all.  After I established my collection, I began referring to the report of cards in my collection with no image.  I started scanning what I had that was missing from the site.  I have 281 scans between fronts and backs.  I uploaded an entire 90 card base set, fronts and backs.  Sometime during that run I gained access to approve my own submissions.

I had also asked a few questions and been responsible for a set or two coming into existence (things I had to request and others took care of), as well as completing a few sets so that a gallery or two could come into existence.

But my point is that in a relatively short time I guess I demonstrated earnest (and quality) contributions to the database to the point where I was granted access to approve my own submissions.

There was no message from anyone.  For days I was uploading images, and the next day when I continued, things looked different during the process and I realized that I was able to finish the job myself now.

BOB, I had access to do that within a few short months of being on here and you joined just before me. I submitted a bunch of scans quickly though. I already had a few dozen cards scanned into my computer before I joined. So after I joined TCDB, I added all of those that were missing here. Then after a few more, I had access to complete the job myself. So time isn't really an issue. It's all about quality and not having to edit after the upload. Once you submit enough scans, you will be granted access.

Interesting thread. So, I can submit a bunch of scans, do they need to be cards WITHOUT scans? If scans are already on site, they are no good? Seems silly but that's the way I think.

So, if that's the case, just find a set that need front and back scans, scan and submit. Is this the way to do it?

Bob, you have to submit scans that get accepted. And you have to submit more than a couple. From what I remember seeing, you submitted 2 scans, and both were marked as incomplete. I don't see every scan that comes through, but I don't remember seeing any others come through from you. Like Sizzzler said, he uploaded a whole 90-card set. I know when I was trying to get that access, I had submitted probably around 50-75 scans over the course of a week before I was granted access. Consistent quantity of uploads, that don't get rejected. That's what it will take. In the meantime, keep scanning and submitting, they will get reviewed and posted soon enough.
