I love the "Card of
the day". What a
great idea you came
up with there.
I think it would be
great if there was
a sub-forum
dedicated to card
of the day, and
each days card
would get it's own
thread. I think a
lot of good
conversation could
come out of the
comments people
make.
Thanks for all your
great work on this
amazing site!

Ok, some cards you may find are very challenging to identify. I have a few I've been asking another member to help me with but I have encountered a communication barrier. In order to share all information about the card I want to Identify, I need to scan it and send him/her a copy. Either that's too difficult for someone like myself or this is not a function of the messaging service provided by the site. The other option is just a bit too personal for me, which is give your email and ask for theirs. If it's already a function of the service, could it be made more...(I struggle for a more appropriate defenition,) User friendly? If it's not a function, could it be made into one? till these cards can be Identified, the haven't a home on the site
Also, no one has answered this for me yet. I have seen people do it. I know it's possible. HOW do you post PHOTO'S on FORUMS????? That's bugging me to no end.

The issues with the college teams not showing up under insert sets and the Recently Added page not displaying properly on subsequent pages after a category is chosen are fixed now.
Dixxy, try the Card Identification Forum under Forums:

You can now report prices for sets as a whole. Thanks to member Rimar1955 for suggesting this new feature. Each set now has a “Pricing” link where this can be done. This page also displays the individual pricing for each card in the set.
Starting November 15, members’ names will be displayed next to the reported prices. This is for quality control purposes. See the Pricing thread under 1990-91 Pro Set Hockey for more details or the FAQ for an explanation of how pricing works on this site.

I was wondering if the card identification forum could be broken up into categories?
I know a lot more about football cards than any other category, but am pretty much a waste of time on anything else.
Breaking them up into categories would speed up searching who I might be able to help, and might lead to more mysteries being solved.

How would people feel about the Card of the Day having the name(s) of the person/people who scanned in the front and back? I always thought it would be interesting to see that. Also, I don't know if it exists already, but is there a log of who has had their card featured on Card of the Day? It would be cool to have that on your profile page.

Would it be possible to submit a new set and a checklist for the set at the same time? Today I recieved 2 minor league baseball sets I ordered from ebay. Neither set was listed on the database. So first I had to request for the sets to be added. Then I had to keep checking back to see if they were added. Once they were I had to submit the checklist.
It seems this could be streamlined for both the person submitting the new set and the admin if the checklist could be added when the request to add the new set is made.
