I see no reason to combine them. Angels perhaps, because they have had so many name changes while playing at the same stadium. But teams that change cities should stay separate. People who collect Brooklyn Dodgers or Baltimore Colts would be inconvenienced if suddenly the city that "stole" their team was mixed in with the cards they collected. At least that's my opinion.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I agree with
switzr. With the
teams they each
build an identity
with their current
city, sometimes
even jettisoning
records set by the
team in previous
locations. (The
Oklahoma City
Thunder do not
recognize the
Seattle SuperSonics
championship for
example). And how
would the Charlotte
Hornets be handled?
The team was
founded as the
Charlotte Hornets,
then moved to New
Orleans in 2002-03.
Then a new team in
Charlotte was
founded in 2004
called the Bobcats.
In 2013-14 the New
Orleans Hornets
became the New
Orleans Pelicans,
and the Charlotte
Bobcats became the
Charlotte Hornets
this year, playing
their first game as
the Hornets again
yesterday. This is
a very convoluted
history and it
would not be
accurate to combine
them.
There's also the
fact that as the
teams get cards
listing from all
players, it would
make it much harder
to go in and find
something, and also
harder to find when
a team is
attributed to the
wrong location.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. In addition to being able to edit card numbers, I'll just go ahead and request the ability to edit set names & dates. This is mainly because of all the errors I'm making as I quickly backfill all the missing Japanese sets, and it would ultimately save the Admin my bombardment of "please fix my mistakes" emails.
I would also like to request an "alias" option for players who go by more than one name, or who might have multiple spellings that are frequently used (loads of Japanese players whose names start with, or end with, the letter 'O', can usually be found both with and without an "H" following the "O". That leds to lots of instances of "Takahiro Saitoh" vs "Takahiro Saito" or "Keiji Ohbiki" vs "Keiji Obiki". There are also instances where Taiwanese players use their actual name in the CPBL, but a modified version of it in Japan, such as Dai-Kang Yang (CPBL) vs Daikan Yoh (NPB) or Tai-Yuan Kuo (CPBL) vs Taigen Kaku (NPB). Somewhere in the background, you've already taken care of a few of these, like Karl Rhodes vs Tuffy Rhodes.
Thanks!

My understanding with the New Charlotte Hornets, is that current Charlotte Hornets get the history of original Charlotte Hornets plus Charlotte Bobcats as their own, and New Orleans Pelicans get the history of New Orleans Hornets and New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets (from the year they were displaced by Hurricane Katrina). Seems odd, but I've read in multiple places that this is how the league is recognizing the Hornets/Bobcats/Pelicans history.

Im currently working on the queue of cards that need reviewed/cropped. Someone uploaded a bunch of card images that are from COMC. They all have to be rejected since they have the COMC watermark on them.
2 suggestions if they are possible:
#1. an ability to send a message to the user who made an upload that needs to be rejected letting them know why its been rejected so they can either fix the issue or not continue wasting their time uploading images that cant be used
#2 an abilty to mark multiple cards at once either reviewed or problem from the queue. I have to do all of these COMC watermarked cards one by one. Would be more time efficient if I could do 5 or 10 at a time.

Admin, since this has been brought up by others, can we institute a screening of posts by new members (or members who just haven't posted)? Maybe after seeing 2 or 3 legit messages post, we can allow immediate posting. Also, maybe we could allow immediate posting for members with a certain point level (which shows they are valuable contributors) who maybe just haven't posted anything yet. Also, a hand-picked group of "forum moderators" can be given the access to see posts "in limbo" and approve or reject them, based on cotent (only reject if it's blatently spam).
Anyone else want to add details to this request?
