Do you mean adding an abbreviation for a card? If so, you must first have editing privaleges and then you can edit the note field for a card.

No, we're referring to Release Notes. See the last image in my previous post. Or go to 1963 Jell-O to see an example.

Hound, Homer The Haymarket Hound, Homer The Pigeon, Homer the Heritage Hound, Homer the Baseball, and Homer the Brakeman, in addition to Homer the Brave, who is mascot of the Atlanta Braves. Great work there. I split up all the mascots named Southpaw a while back, though the nameless "Chicago White Sox Mascot" ones wouldn't have shown up on the list when I did that (Topps is weird about not always using the mascot's name). I see you got several of those fixed, as well as a lot of Oriole Bird and Ace, which often get entered wrong. I appreciate your work here, as mascot cards are some of my favorite cards! I now hate the name "Homer" I'm a librarian and trained as a cataloging librarian so this kind of stuff is what I love doing. But the Homer thing... as best as I could, I would use the official mascot name (taken from an official website or at least a press release/local news report) if possible first, then I would go with the name and add the thing it was (usually an animal), even though that might not be how the mascot normally appears. But I had to completely turn off my cataloging brain in order to basically make up a few of them to differentiate. Notably, the one guy that is really just a baseball with arms and legs (Homer the baseball) and the other guy that actually has a torso (Homer the Baseballhead). In these cases, I really wish we could set up mascots so that team affiliation was a factor in the autolink process. Then you actually call the ones that are just "Homer" simply, "Homer" but the team affiliation would be the primary differentiator. And these are just the mascots I ran across by searching for mascot sets and then breaking up the lumped together ones I found. I have no idea how much else is still out there messed up.

Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.

Another thing I thought of that may be of some use (unless it also already exists =O) is when adding a checklist using the copy from another set option. Is it possible to have a from card ?? to card ?? added. Some parallels/inserts do not cover the entire "base" set and it would save people like me from hassling Admin constantly.

Or the ability to delete card numbers from a checklist. At my permission level I can add a card number to the checklist, but I can't delete them.

i've inquired about the ability to delete a scan or what not.. they are not willing to give up that permission to the public, mainly due because if an acct was left open or hacked, whoever could essentially delete everything- which makes sense, until they can fiqure or code a work around, we just need to keep emailing what needs to be deleted , etc

No, not editing a specific card. I want to add to the glossary for a set. After you click on a set to view, then click on GLossary... on that page I want to add terms. At the moment, all I can do is edit currently listed temrs.

The way terms are added to the Glossary is by adding the abbreviation directly in the Note field of one or more cards in the set. Once the abbreviation has been used, it's added to the Glossary. The definitions for MG, MGR, CL, SNxxx, PRxxx, and a few others get auto-populated, while others will need to be added (hopefully by the individual who added the Note). If you have permission to add or edit notes, you can add to the Glossary.

Thank you, you are correct. I added a note on the card itself and it was automatically added to the glossary.
