To sort of piggyback off of avsbruins' query, is there a way to know how much of a particular season is scanned? I was looking at the stats for each sport on the page to select a year and it got me to wondering about which years have the highest percentage of scans posted. (obviously thinking more about the 1990s-2000s when there was a plethora of sets each year)

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I know this might seem a little morbid, but since we have a Born on This Day section on the front page, I was wondering about a Died on This Day section as well. Like I said morbid, but it might be interesting for those who might want to know that information as well. Also, it might encourage the addition of that information to the site. Although, lately that information seems to be appearing very quickly when an athlete or celebrity passes away.

Each category has it's own "In Memorium" page, here is baseball's:

Is that what you meant?

vrooomed, thank you I hadn't realized there was an "In Memorium" page under each category. Guess I just didn't pay attention enough (really should read as need to explore the site more than just add to my collection.)

Wondering if this function could be added to the players in a collection? The one listed below is for my hockey sets I have one card atleast in? Would be great to see for players also.

really think we need to get added a "No Name" feature just like the "No Team" on the drop down. hoping it would alliviete the amount of Red Boxes when validating names and limit the amount of times the CL ends up back in the Name Validation que. Items like the Kid Reporters, Pennant cards that don't have a specific person linked to it would come in helpful.

I just finished moving over some 2016 and 2017 Jaime Garcia cards from Jaime Garcia (COACH), PID 70308, to the player Jaime Garcia, PID 20486. This incorrect linking will probably happen every time more cards are added. My suggestion, if possible, is some kind of alert/popup to ask which PID should be linked when the names are exactly the same. When whole sets are added, this could link several names to incorrect PID's. This may have been suggested before, but I just needed to rant a little over unnecessary work.

Hear you loud and clear Redsfan, I too figure there should be a pop-up (ala OfficePools if anyone has ever used that site) that lists all the players of that spelling so you can pick the correct one. I try to catch them when they happen but I don't get all of them thats a guarantee!! =(

A secondary card number field has been added to the database for handling of the “a”, “b”, “c”, etc. that are typically added to card numbers for errors and variations. The goal is to have the card numbers entered into the primary field match what’s printed on the cards themselves and to have the letters, which are just to show that a variation is present, entered into the secondary field. This will allow for the letters to be present in checklists, but not impede any filtering. Putting any of the following terms into the Note2 field will unlock this secondary card number field: “BASE:”, “ERR:”, “COR:”, and “VAR:”. Level 7 or higher permissions are required to edit card number fields.
Card Number and Note Validation Systems have been added to the Things To Do page. Validating the card number and notes fields of a set in these areas will lock the set down from any further edits of those fields. Level 7 or higher permissions are required to access these areas.
A Set Validation System has also been added to the Things To Do page. Validating a set will lock down all fields from further editing. Level 8 permissions are required to access the set validation area.
