I've got a 1/1 printing plate that somebody thought would make a great autographed item. So, this thing has a non-original autograph on it, but it's the only one in existence. Does an exception get made to add a photo for this or no?

As it's the only one in existence, then yes, it gets an exception.  Please leave a comment on the card's page explaining the situation for posterity.
