i hate to beat down another horse on this.. i remember when this came up the first time and re-reading pg 1 of this forum. The industry itself is just plain riduculous on distinguishing or even starting the whole, Patch, Swathc, etc deals.its so much easier when a card says "player worn jersey" =JSY or "player worn material" / "Player worn memborillia" which should = MEM - plus you never know what that material is, hell it could be his skanky underwear. Even a few of the so-called patch cards in title have player jersey written on it. So, i agree on the art of correctness but how speciific ? i think from what i see on here so far is going on the right track and that is: if known, (JSY or MEM) it going in on the Note1 field and let the identifiers such as pants, patch, fake eyelash, sweatband or whatever go into Note2.
As far as Note 1 feild goes- i've gone a far as putting MEM2 or MEM3 in some cases to signify mulitple items and lisitng those items in note2. except in cases where its a dual jsy,, so should we continue with that as well? Note1: MEM3 Note2: Pants, JSY, Ball . The same insert set may have a MEM3 with a JSY, Ball, Glove.
Just a thought
