That OPC premier set is CRAZY. 

Can not wait for you to hit the later years and the Artifacts sets WOW. Headaches.

   Since I do not yet own a decent scanner (someday!) I have began working on the name validation section. I am currently working through the Procard minor league sets, updating, adding and combing as needed. Minor league sets are hard on the brain. One or two year players sometims had thier first name on the card, middle name or even their nickname. Slowly but surely it is being cleaned up. I am on this site almost every day doing something. It is a lot of work, but a lot of fun also.

Just thought I would revisit this to see if anyone is also working on this?

I have been working on team and names mostly.

Also work on the abbreviations

While going through the name validation, I notice alot of sets have all corrected but only see the verified button. Wonder when those are deleted? I know if I hit the verified button they vanish but are they removed during an update or do they stay until someone hits verified?

Still working on DOBs, DODs, and other personal info.   Only real problem is when you get conflicting DOBs from various sources.   Oh, also cropping my earlier poor scanning efforts.

i think i've overlooked something --- i thought there was a way to change or add a players team in the subsets all at once. like on the main set, Player A is on Team XX, a link would provide to add that Team XX on the sub inserts that have that Player A.  this way there isn't a need to go to each insert set. was a link for that or am i just dreaming?

Don't remember that - but there is a utility to copy the teams in parallel sets. Is that what you were thinking of?

yes, that is what i was thinking ...i think -- been skimming around i may have overlooked it,but cant find it now

Go to the overview page, click on Teams. At the bottom of the page, you'll see a Tools section - first link in the list:
