Topps Base Card Scans Needed

This site has scans of all of the Topps base cards from 1951-1998. Time for everyone to go through their 1999 and 2002 sets and scan their variations of the Sosa, McGwire, and Bonds base cards.

I won't scan a card for any of those guys and others into steroids. Just how I feel. Feel free to scan them if you must.

That doesnt hurt those players any... It just hinders the site by not having the ability to display those cards as part of the set and be as complete as possible.

I admit, I am not a fan of those players either. I'm especially disgusted with A- Rod at the moment, who wants to sue everyone instead of accepting responsibility for his actions. However, I collect sets, so I am not going to stop collecting them either. So anyone who wishes to protest these players, feel free to send their cards to Joe Parks, 589 McNair Rd, Annapolis, MD 21402- 1323

Ha. I don't think you're as clueless as you claim to be. If I took a stand on what I disagreed with, I wouldn't post any Yankees cards, but I do. It happens, they exist, I acknowledge.

Yeah, I threw away all my Babe Ruth cards when I found out he drank during prohibition. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

The difference is the booze didnt help the Babe inflate his HR totals unlike those of McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Palmiero, etc.......

I scanned the back of the last 1980 topps card that was missing this morning. The '02 Bonds I have is already in, so I'll dig out my '99 set tomorrow and see if I have either of those.

In case anyone was wondering, to finish the other incomplete Topps base sets :

2007 - Need 7 cards (1 regular base card back, and 6 front/back variation cards)

2009 - If we're counting SP's as base cards, the we need the backs of 26 SP cards.

2010 - 28 SP backs, 10 variation (mostly backs, some fronts), and 1 regular base card back

And yes, I really had nothing else better to do tonight. lol!
