Hi. I have made several trades now, and am wondering...How come sometimes the cards automatically go to my collection from a trade and sometimes not? I just made a trade, using the 2nd choice for adding the cards to the trade, but it hasn't loaded to my inventory, so it looks like I will have to add the cards one at a time. The same format was used for other trades and cards went in automatically. I must be missing something but not sure what. Any tips would be welcome.

I think both parties need to show the items sent and received in the transaction for the transfer to occur. Not 100% sure. I just had a trade happen where the cards transferred just fine. Not sure how we did that.

I've just completed a trade using the selection option. I worked flawlessly. Now that I know how to do it I will be using it all the time.

Still new at the trades but I do know there is a 'Completed' option for updating the trade. You might make sure of that final step.

I believe that if you submit completed before you submit received, the cards are not removed or added to/from your sets. I did this once and then realized my cards were not there. Not 100% sure if this is true, but have not done that since.

Yeah, I just responded to a similar post. It appears that when using the "TRANSACTIONS" feature, each trading partner needs to update the process as it unfolds...complete the transaction...and then you have to cleanup any in transit. Seems a bit tedious but apparently works. I will probably use it now for small deals.

From what I recall, if everything goes as expected (each party updates each step), cleaning up In Transit is not needed.

True. Everything's gone smoothly for me as long as both parties Update each step in sequence. Accepted, Package Sent, Package Received, Transaction Completed.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

As I understand it, when I send the cards I'm trading, they should change from For Sale/Trade status to In Transit on my checklist. This did occur. However, shouldn't the reverse be true as well, when the person I am trading with marks the cards they have for me as Sent, shouldn't they then show up on my checklist as In Transit? That did not happen.

That is my understanding and how I believe it has worked for my transactions. When you mark the package as received they should be transferred from your in transit to your collection and when your trading partner marks as recieved your outgaoing cards also go from your in transit to their collection.
After a trade has been agreed upon and the cards sent all of the cards should be in both in transit lists I think.
