Ive noticed that we have an issue with Jr's. It seems the Jr is being forgotten when entering cards on checklists alot of times. Almost all of John Mayberry Jr's cards for the last several years were in John Mayberry (Sr)'s list. I started fixing those last night. Delino DeShields Jr is the same way. I havent checked others yet.
My question is. Is there a way to fix these in bulk? I dont mind doing it one by one but if there is a way to do more than one at a time then I could obviously do it faster.

As a Jr myself, I can say that the whole world has an issue with Jr's, not just this database!!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I went in and put all the 80s-90s bseball Ken(ny) Williams together under the PID of 6306. Under PID 21796 the 1920s baseball player and the 90s basketball player are still combined. I wasnt sure how to properly split them up. sltyeager wrote: Baseball; Kenny

John Williams,
basketball player,
Tulane University
and player for
Cleveland then
Phoenix. Under the
name Hot Rod
Williams(Fleer
1990/91 card #37)
are cards for John
Williams of
Tulane. Under the
listing John
Williams(1953
Bowman card #87) is
1st a football
player that played
for the Redskins in
the 50's and then a
basketball player
(1987/88 Fleer card
#122) from LSU that
played for the
Bullets. Most of
the cards in this
listing are for
John Williams aka
Hot Rod Williams
(1991/92 Skybox
card #55) of Tulane
and
Cleveland/Phoenix.
Thanks
Jerry

I fixed several of these the other day in instances where I was sure who it was. There were lots of missing images, and the two basketball players (John "Hot Rod" Williams and John "Hot Plate" Williams) had overlapping 10+ year NBA careers, so I wasn't always sure which one it was without an image to reference. I think all the cards under Hot Rod Williams are actually Hot Rod, but I think there are a lot of cards of both Hot Rod and Hot Plate under plain John Williams. Maybe it would simplify things if they were designated as John "Hot Rod" Williams and John "Hot Plate" Williams instead of Hot Rod Williams and John Williams?? Hot Rod played for Tulane, Cavs, and Suns, as has been noted, and Hot Plate played for LSU, Bullets, Clippers, and Pacers. Both joined the league in 1986.
I just found confirmation on a figures site that the 1988 Starting Lineup was of Hot Rod, so I will move that one now. sltyeager wrote: John Williams,

Billy Smith (http://www.tradingcarddb.com/Person.cfm/pid/5456/Billy-Smith) needs to be split into the following.
- 2nd baseman who played for the Orioles in the late 70s
- Blue Jays coach in the 1980s
I already split two others off from this listing.
Thanks.

PID = 28640 Edwin Encarnarcion and PID = 28672 Scot Eyre can be deleted. These are duplicate entries of players but with mispellings of their names. I moved the ones under the mispelled to the proper entries and these 2 PIDs are now empty.
