Is there any way of using an existing checklist to make a new one? Other than the obvious copy method, I have an auto version of a set that is 25 cards fewer than the non-auto, its a crazy alpha #ed set and would speed me way up if I could copy the one and edit it, am sick and tired of typing. There is one there but it needs SO MUCH editing to be correct I told Admin to delete it and start fresh!! I always here about how you guys make checklists so easily, thought there might be some tips.

i don't think there is. what i had to do, is copy the CL from lets say Cardboard conneciton.. then past it in excel, then only have to type whatever Alpha listing is there for the card #'s,, then use that and take out the cards not in the auto set or whatever subsets noted and thereafter. be nice to have the ability to copy "X" cards over, but on the large sets, it does make a lot room for error

Whenever I try to do that I get two outcomes, it pastes the entire list into one single cell or it copies them in a grey rectangle and is uneditable. Whenever I try it just tries to connect to the web link ..... DOH. Looks like I either edit the old one or send admin a message asking them to make the new list and tell him which 25 to leave off.

LOL OK, I sent Admin the list of 25 and the info on how to enter the new list, after 17 versions of artifacts this past week, making / editing is not high on my list right now LOL. But please pass along the info as I am always eager to learn.

When I cut and paste checklists, I find it easiest to paste into Notepad first. That makes sure that no HTML formatting comes along for the ride. Then I use the Find/Replace function to get rid of the extra tabs and spaces. Using this function, it is easy to turn it into space delimited (for text upload) or tab delimited (for pasting into Excel) text.

Much like Tom, I copy and paste into MS Word. Then after edits I copy and paste into Excel.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
