Is there a way to see all of my cards with personal comments added, in one place? I want to start using the comments field to identify my "modified" cards, i.e. cards I have had autographed in person, Topps Buyback cards, etc. Also for cards with advertising backs where the retailer is different depending where the card was bought, like my William Henry Harrison card we discussed the other day. I wondered where those comments would show up for me to see, so I would know that I still need a standard version of the card (I don't normally add doubles).

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Did a little more looking into this... I see that if I add a serial number for a numbered card, that number shows up everywhere. I've always used that for my few numbered cards. My question should perhaps be rephrased as a request...
Admin, is it possible that cards with a note in the comments field (from detailed add) could have that comment show up in a similar way to the serial numbers we add from the same screen?

Yes, go to your Collection, scroll down to Reports. At the very bottom of Reports is "Search the Comment field in your Collection". I start all my comments with "#" (unless "#" is in my comment). So then I search for "#" and all my cards with comments will show up in the list.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Sweet to see, this is exactly what I was asking about last week as well, I can input what I paid for each card here and then at any time I can do a search using, say the $ sign. At least I think that would work.

Also, thank you C2 for your answer on adding scans for my own collection. I didn't want to continue to take that post off topic by thanking you there. This is just what I needed. I never knew that it would make my scan override the existing scan on my screen by doing that. I really like this feature. I always knew it existed but had never used it.
