Just curious if anyone knows how "No Number" came to be abbreviated as "NNO" instead of "NN" or "NON" or "NNU"? Are they actually "No No's"? I am not suggesting they should be changed. For some reason that just stood out to me as I was correcting some NNO1, NNO2, etcs. ------------------------------- <Insert Signature Here>

The abbreviation for number is "no". The abbreviation for numbers is "nos".

Probably for the same reason that pages are abbreviated pps. and ibid means the same as above.
