I have just noticed that when a correction is made, for example a team name was corrected...there was no point granted.  Or are points granted after admin verifies these corrections?

"Bonus points" appear to be random at this point. Technically, you don't earn points for corrections. Points are only gained for adding card scans and checklists. However, points totals are occasionally bumped by the amount of information you've added in the time-period. When I first joined, it appeared to be every six months, then it jumped once a month for a few months. I think it has either been dropped or changed back to a longer period. I haven't noticed a bonus point jump in several months now. I am constantly adding info, making corrections, and asking Admin to fix things that only they can fix.

Yes, points are given out right after the first of every month, except for points earned for posting scans, which are added immediately. Points are also earned when you add a person to the database.
