I did know about that feature and use it extensively. I have been busy lately with adding cards and scans for all the new 2016 Panini Prizm NASCAR cards (plus missing CL's). It's taking forever but nearly complete now. I have been swamped with trades and purchases lately, so I haven't even had time to JUST add cards that I previously owned before all this stuff came in. I have a backlog of over 700 cards that came in over the past 2 weeks from NASCAR, MLB, and NFL. AND I have more cards coming in by the end of the week! I'm working as fast as I can.

NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now. _______________________________________________________________________ Largest total PC card collections by Team, then Athlete (as of 3/22/24): STL Cardinals (MLB) - 8810; Carolina Panthers - 2888; GB Packers - 1790+ cards Mark Martin (NASCAR) - 2038 cards; Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR) - 1875 cards; Jeff Gordon (NASCAR) - 1594; Ricky Rudd (NASCAR) - 839; Ozzie Smith (MLB) - 707

If you look through past threads I found a type of scanner that DOES make them scanable!! I have it right here in my office it is an Epson Perfection V37.

My scanner is currently buried under stacks of cards. I guess I could move those cards... (I hate scanning cards, and will come up with any excuse to avoid it)

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

As I scan cards from 2003, I finally see my number of cards missing images below 1000. The end is in sight!

I'd love to update some images (and build up some points too), but it just seems to take soooo longgggg.

I need to go through my list more frequently. I recently checked one of the cards I knew I had scanned a Kellogg's 3-D 1970 Mike Epstien Sentors added the front, but couldn't add the back because my copy has a massive glued paper residue on it. http://curlywcards.blogspot.com/2014/03/goodies-from-lcs-part-one.html http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PQySlm8FJ5w/UzjkVTk_R2I/AAAAAAAAFh0/GQedrjwe7H8/s1600/mikeepstein1970kelloggs24back.jpg
Part 1? I don't think I ever did a part 2. Oh Well!

Some of the ones I own that are not added are graded cards. Once I get a better scanner I might be able to scan, crop and add. Unless it is ok to add Scans of the graded cards?

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

You need a scanner with CCD (Charged Coupled Device) technology. CCD is the same sensor used in digital cameras. They can focus on the card surface inside the slab. CIS (Contact Imaging Sensor) scanners have a fixed focus on the surface of the scanner bed (glass) and only what is directly contacting the glass.
Slabbed cards scanned with a CIS scanner will be out of focus and blurry. And will get rejected/removed for low quality.
-------------------------------
Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
