Was working on the Things to do section and decided to check out the abbreviations and found this?

Missing Abbreviation Descriptions

• Non-Sport

• Soccer
• Tennis
• Wrestling

Now that is a nice feature to show what is needed in the section. (3)

When did this happen and has it happened to the other sections? Did not notice it in the players or team

Admin added that right aroud the time that the last few categories were approaching (0) so that we wouldn't have to click through each link just to see if there was anything to do.

It's even better to see "There are currently no missing abbreviation descriptions." :) We all completed them on Sept 11th so the request and change went in that week after that.

On the subject of abbreviations, is there anyone working on clearing up duplicate abbreviations for the same item? For example AC or ACO can be used for Assistant Coach, ACS or ACT can be used for Action Shot. I can't think of any reason there should be a choice, but perhaps there is one. I think this would unclutter the glossary a bit, and make for more consistent use of abbreviations in the data base.

I did a *little* of that, but I stopped. What you have described is what I was calling phase 2 of the Glossary project. There's plenty of opportunity in the Glossary for this type of clean up now.
