How does on accumulate points on this site?

By adding images (patiently at first as they need to be approved by more experienced users) checklists, and fixing existing items like names and cropping images and so on. If you go to the permissions tabs and start doing the quizes to raise your permissions level the more you will be allowed to get points for. I officially hit 5000 points and have been here for over two years but have a miniscule collection to the big dogs on here, 100,000 point people. So the more you learn / do, the better the chances at making points. Hope that helps.

I have one of the larger collections loaded into this site but I have pretty much maxed out my points possible in any big way as the more common cards we all have in our collections already have images loaded.  But there are other ways to accumulate points and to most of us, point levels are nice (I am sure most of us hope to reach 100,000) but it is all about contributing to the site.  Everything we do is to help fellow members.  There are cards in my collection that I never knew anything about till I found this site.  From the images loaded by others, I could identify what set they came from.  If necessay, I just had to ask and someone would be able to identify it for me.
