Hey all, I need some help here. How do you make a card from a set the cover card for that set? I may not be explaining myself very clealry, but when you look at most sets that have pics, you see a single card picked out near the top left corenr of the screen to represent the set. How do you assign a card for that purpose?

That function requires Level 8 Permission.

You could always ask a member who is in the top 40 of the Top Members List to add the Sample for you. I offered to do that for Tom when he first joined and asked me about adding Sample cards. Just remember that the member might think there is a better pick for the Sample card for that set, such as an iconic card from that specific release.

But when you do pick a card, remember it is a "sample" card.  I like to see a card that will indicate to me that I am in the right set listing.  Many of the subset cards don't give a true sample of the set card layout.  As well, it should not be a popularity contest amongst players.

Somebody in the NASCAR section picked their favorite driver for pretty much every set...even though it's one of my favorite people in the sport as well I now won't select him for any sample images because there are more than one person in the sport, not that you'd know that by looking at the Gallery listing.

I try to pick the best scan for each set. but only base cards, not subset cards. Obviously doesn't apply to inserts.

Nor do Cover or Title cards.  Like you, I depend on the sample card to let me know I'm at the correct set.

I like to pick the best quality scan, the best picture, and not horizontal (if possible).
