I was just looking at the checklist on this set and see some confusing things.  There are several entries that seem to be intended as variants of other entries, but they are not labelled as VAR, nor is there any description of what the difference in variations actually is.  

Now some of them have card scans and you can tell the difference.  I will go in now and add some VAR comments and descriptions to those.  But there are some that have no back scan, so it isn't clear what the difference between the cards is supposed to be.

Does anyone know anything about these extra variations?  Does anyone have versions which can have scans added?

Update:

There are three cards with no scan so the variation detail cannot be identified. I don't know if we should delete or label as VAR or not, so I did nothing for those three.

I also found that two of the VAR's labeled for the "Pittsburgh Pirates / Toronto Blue Jays" cards seem to be identical.  If someone with higher permission levels than I could address that somehow, that would be great!

The Fleer Sticker Project might answer your questions.

I can answer the question when I get home. There are a number of legit VARs, I have the complete set with all VARs but 1, that most collectors believe is a hoax. Get back to you later. ~BOB~

46 or 47+ 2-in-1: Orioles/Braves [2], WSox/Twins [2], Indians/Reds [2], Tigers/Yanks [2], Astros/Mariners [2], Royals/Giants [2], Twins/Pirates [4], Expos/Orioles [3], A's/Astros [2], Pirates/BlueJays [5], Padres/RedSox [3], Giants/Rangers [2].

Debateable: Angels/Cardinals [2], Angels/Reds [2], WSox/Cardinals [2]

Putting this set together is for the ultimate sticker collector.

I had just received one in a trade and had originally requested it based on the colorful sticker, but after seeing the 8th wonder of the world (Astrodome) I probably will display that instead.
