It won't mean much to many in our community who own much larger, and valuable collections, but I just surpassed 1,000 baseball cards in my own personal collection. I will disregard the value assessed to them currently as it stands at $666. Now the goal is to reach that in both football and basketball.
Many thanks to you guys for trading some wonderfully beautiful pieces of art and memories in cardboard. I've been blessed beyond measure by guys giving me the time of day and sticking an extra card here and there. I just don't run into that sort of kindness everyday. God bless you all!

Well done! Keep it going. It gets harder to accumulate the farther back you go....

Congrats on hitting that mark! I can probably help you with football. I just got a bunch of traders in on Saturday and there were many Cowboys cards from the past few years. I haven't quite finished adding all of the cards yet. Most of my FS/T football cards are on here though. Check it out and we'll try to work a trade. I collect Panthers, Packers, Patriots in that order.

Sounds good. I hope I have some cards you need. I still haven't added some of the new cards yet and still haven't added some of my older cards (around 1990 or 91).

Yeah, 400 is correct as I started later with those. Except for a few display cards the 400 are made up of Olajuwon, Drexler, The Admiral, Calvin Murphy, Worthy, and thanks to you, Billy, I started collecting both Kobe and Shaq, along with Anthony-Towns. I'm up to three Kobe RCs. Still searching for that Shaq RC.

wow, 1000 congrats to you. I understand you goals.
Heck for 1965, there are only 97 different cards in the data base for Phila Phillies, but just last year 2016 there are 3,215 different cards. I do not need every one of them.
So again congrats
Robert

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards
