Hey Guys,

I've only been on here for a couple of months, mainly just entering my cards. I found this site because of what Beckett was doing with their collection. Their OPG I'll get every so often, but to pay to enter my collection, nah, I'll pass.

I started collecting in 2005 with my son. He was playing football and baseball and I was coaching his teams. Well, he got older, got into video games and lost interest in collecting. Well I was hooked again. I say again because I used to collect baseball cards when I was younger back in the 60's. Quit collecting baseball, but still collect football. I'm mainly a set builder, but I do collect Peyton Manning cards. I still coach youth football and will build a set every year to give to my MVP. The kids seem to love getting that set every year.

I am also a member of several other trading sites, The Bench, Sports Card Forum and others. Luckily, I'm retired and can use all of my spare time entering my cards. As time goes by and I become more accustomed too this site, I hope to be able to contribute more.

I have oficially been on the site for almost 1 year now and this is by far my favorite site.  Not a day goes by that I don't check the site and I spend countless time just clicking around and looking at cards.  Another thing that makes this site special though are the people.  Everyone is friendly, no one seems to ever post nasty items and I have reached out so far to Billy Kingsley regarding scanning cards and vrooomed for how to help clean things up and they were both extremely friendly and helpful.  I can't say enough about the regulars on this site and how much this site brings me happniess on a daily basis.  I recommend it to everyone I know that collects and look forward to continuing to participate.  I actually get excited whenever I add a card to my collection that needs a scan just so I can feel like I helped out with something.  Everyone should keep up the great work and I personally want to thank everyone that makes this site everything that it is!!

Well said Muskie, I have been here just about three years (maybe three now not sure lol) but yes several old timers (=P) helped me learn the ropes as well. I am still learning, adding and exploring oh and yes trying to find as much time on here as possible. I trolled here for close to a year here and now I am one of the babbling fools .... aka "lots" of posts. =) No I didn't say meaningful, just lots lol. I am a hockey guy only so alot of the discussion I just read.

Welcome to everyone, This site is the one I frequent the most, like to be able help make it the best one out there for collectors. Enjoy the site and add scans, correct things, check out teh things to do section. Lots of missing information there.

I have noticed that there are certain members that focus on certain sports and are more knowledgable it seems. Do not hesitate to ask questions and have fun.

I've been a member for about 4 1/2 months now (another zistle casuality), and I never officially introduced myself. It's taken me awhile to get used to this site and I still don't know all of the features. Having said that, It's officially my home for my collection. I've made 3 solid trades and hope to complete more once I add more of my collection. One thing I love about this site is the activity on the forums and the willingness of other members to help out when needed. Enough babbling for now, as I'm off to my local card shop.

Another zistle convert.  Still trying to figure out how I would like to use this site to the best advantage for myself and to facilitate trades with others.

If you want to be the sole driver of your trades, get your wantlist in here. Then you can look for the collectors who have those cards available, and you can look through their want lists and see if you have stuff to trade. Obviously, getting everything in here would be ideal, but I just don't have the time to enter in all my available cards (around 80,000 cards available - something like that).

No issues with vrooomed's advice but, if and when you propose a trade, take the time to enter the cards you are offering into your trade list so as to take full advantage of the site's trade generator.  If the cards are drawn from your trade list, they will automatically transfer from your trade list to the other's collection.  Saves time for your partner, especially if an extensive trade from multiple sets.

Yes, what sandyrusty said about entering in your trade proposal. (That's actually what I do when I trade.)

Another welcome to all newcomers....The Best Site Going...I concur with all our members comments. What Sandy said is huge with trades, FOLLOW thru each step and the cards get auto-transferred, great feature. Look me up, always willing to trade and have plenty available. Have fun!, ~BOB~
