I have been going through a search of forum checklist posts trying to find an answer on this.  I'm sure it is there somewhere but was not finding.

I already requested a set be added to show a set in the database for a 2005 DAV Milwaukee Brewers set I have.  In the meantime, I thought I would put together the checklist for the set.  

There are no card numbers so I know, that column is all NNO.  From other posts I know I am supposed to put the names in alphabetical order.

Is this alphabetical by first or last name?

dsorek is correct. Alpha order by last name.

I will say that I have done a number of "sketch sets" with cards listed by artist.  I noticed a lot of set producers put out their checklists by first name alphabetical order, so that was how I was listing them.  I saw an earlier discussions about this and was going to switch to Last name alphabetical, until I realized that there a number of artists that go by singular ("Pen"?) names, which is why I am guessing the lists are by first name.  Thoughts?

That's similar to the exception that I was going to mention.  If the set includes a checklist card or has a checklist on the packaging that establishes some other order for the cards, I go with the order shown on the manufacturer-published checklist.

Tom I did this at first too but if I scroll back through my long list of Admin replies I do think he still wants alpha by last name to keep DB in sync. A lot of minor hockey sets would do by name or jersey number and I am pretty positive I was asked to keep it as I mention above. Might want to throw the big Kahuna a message to either confirm or shame me. =)
