Glad I could contribute to some unintentional comedy as well :)

Although I'm new here, I have ran into that before myself in the past. It's sad some collectors do that. I trade with the idea the other person is after gem mint cards, so if there is any flaw, I make sure to disclose that to them. And hopefully I get the same in return. I'm usually fine with a card with some flaws, just tell me first.

I've received cards in the mail that were not perfect. One of the trade packages came with some sort of gritty off white substance stuck on each card. I had to use a wet paper towel to remove it and even then it left a "shadow" afterward. That's not to mention scratches, dings, soft corners etc. Everything on my tradelist is in perfect shape, or so darn close to it that if there was a flaw I missed it. I actually have more rejects then I do cards on my tradelist, luckily I found someone who will trade for them. I probably have the reject number down below the tradelist because I've given so many away. 

It's funny because I have no problem taking in a damaged card. I am of the mindset that a damaged card is better than no card. It's just a little jarring to expect a perfect card and get a damaged one.
