Hi,
I was going to do the checklist for the gold, holo, purple, etc... of the 2017 Donruss Optic and some of them are sn numbered and I was wondering if there is already something next to the players name, like DK, do I still put the sn number under note 1 next to what's already there?

Yes, and separate with a comma. DK, SN##

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Another question about that same set. The base set lists numbers 166 as RR, AU, RC. Isn't RR and RC the same thing? and the Autograph card are also listed as a seperate insert under that section. Under Rated Rookie Signatures, but they are numbered 166 - 175 so shouldn't there just be a listing for the base rated rookie signatures like they have them with the base set? Then just have the holo, gold, etc... Rated Rookie signatures as inserts or should they be added to the holo, gold, etc... insert sets like they are the base set? (Are you completely confused yet?)

I just looked at it again and I see that there is a different set that is a Rated Rookie Signature Set. So I'm just going to add the 166-175 cards to the parallells like they did the base set, but I'm still curious about the RR and RC in the notes.

RR = Rated Rookie
RC = Rookie Card
Juts because a company decides to put someone in their "Rookie" subset (Hot Rookies, Rookies, Rated Rookies, etc.), doesn't mean that the card matches the strict criteria to be an official rookie card (RC). We only use the RC here to indicate the official rookie card (and the rules vary by sport). Therefore RR does not equal RC.

yes MLB is different for rookies . The MLBPA is involved in what is your rookie card. In the NHL, not sure of age, but if you pass it, while you played in Europe and come to the NHL , if to score 200 goals you can be MVP but not ROY as your rookie year was in Europe.
baseball might of changed too because of some guy named Irichio

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards
