Question: Does anyone know where I can find RED Ultra Pro (baseball) binders?
I put together a set of Topps baseball every year. I was born in 1960 and my collecting dream/goal is to have a complete set from every year. Many years ago when I started, I placed the completed sets in notebooks and set them on my shelf. I decided I needed to alternate the binder colors and bought blue and red binders. After several years I thought it made sense to make a "bulk" purchase and bought two boxes- one blue and one red (12 binders to a box). I now have one red binder left, for 2015. I have been checking at shows for several years without success. I have contacted Ultra Pro and asked if they are available, but haven't received a reply. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Not sure about the
red Ultra Pro
binders. I haven't
seen them in a
while. But BCW has
the more than just
the blue and black
binders. You can
check it out at
www.bcwsupplies.com/
type/album or at
www.store.cardsone.c
om see if that
helps you out any.

We go cheap and get our binders from the big box office supply places when they go on sale. I also buy sheet lifters in bulk (worth every cent, they are).

lol. I trump all cheap! I have Knoll furniture binders I took home from work that were used in mock ups, some I have found on sites I've built office furniture, some from trash bins that offices used for annual purges, or I've asked places if I can have a few 3-4 inch d rings. Second hand stores too when I ran too low.... which I believe I am about to run low... >:(

Dixxy, you crack me up! Of course, I have a few from work that were in the trash bins or abandoned cubicles.

I work at a radio station, and they recently cleaned out their clutter. So I grabbed some 20 4-inch D-ring binders and other smaller ones. I keep my favorite inserts/cool-looking cards in a binder that is labeled as an owner's manual for a piece of broadcast equipment from the 1970s!

So, it seems a lot of us just use whatever binders we can scavenge.
And here I thought I was alone on that one. Guess a lot of us would rather spend the extra money on more cards than on the supplies.

I'm not sure how much you want to spend but blowout cards has some- http://www.blowoutcards.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=118_164
Personally I use whatever I can find and if in a pinch I buy some at Walmart after they clearance back to school supplies. However I am looking for a certain type of binder myself, a Hygrade baseball card binder. I have one that my dad used, but it is about to fall apart. I'm cheap though and shipping online is crazy when ordering binders.

Big chain stores like Meijer have all their school supplies marked down right now for back to school. Lots of colors too. I picked up a green binder yesterday. Not as good as free radio parts and office furniture binders, but my work doesn't have those options for me.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
