I try to kick out at least one post a month on my blog, but my focus is so extremely non-mainstream that the only traffic I get are from the 4-5 regular readers I have and whenever a new post shows on the front page here or in the overall baseball card blog roundup.
I do periodically revisit my posts and correct typos when I find them, and occasionally even re-write a post if either I didn't like the wording I originally used or if I have new information to add. By far the most visited post I did was about the Topps/R&N China porcelain baseball cards. Eventually I realized most people are just looking to find how much they are worth (hint: less that their original retail),so I recently added a note in the text about that.
I started writing about my player collections, but it has been ages since I touched on those. Mostly now I write about my non-American baseball card set research. I've compiled checklists for obscure sets in something like 5 languanges I don't speak or read.
I also use my blog to track my want lists.
Ultimately I try to post useful information, but I don't really attempt to engage readers anymore. Entertaining people seems like a lot of work. I just settle for informing them. I don't get into any long comment conversations, but hopefully when someone goes hunting for obscure Taiwanese Luis de los Santos cards, they'll find what they're Googling for.
