Admin: I realize I may be going over the top with this request, even with everything else you have going on but here goes. I am one of the old buzzards on this site, and my eyes are going. Is there any way to make the colors on our collection screen (ie., our have's and our want list ) more contrasting. The shades of I gues (blue) are tuff for me to see. Please consider this my X'mas gift. LOL !!! Thanks. Wayne Johnson (family1)

A different patterned background for each color might be more helpful.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thought you were going to rest those old color blind eyes? I know the struggle. Besides colors I struggle to read codes on the back of the cards or when scanned into this site. The magnifying glass I use now is pretty much worthless. Time to ask Santa to get me a decent one for Christmas.

I guess I'm not the only one who uses a magnifying glass for collecting. Why is it so hard to print a copyright date with a larger font?

Have a magnifying glass with a light for these old eyes and reading glasses.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

I consider my eyes to still be pretty young, but I need help with reading the copyrights sometimes too. Usually a pinpoint LED light works, but sometimes I also have to break out the magnifier.
As for the OP, I agree that a diff. background for the colors would probably help him. I can't imagine trying to discern the differences without being able to see the colors. The colors are so pale that I'm sure they all look the same.

A colorblindness complaint that isn't from me. I never thought the day would come!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Hahaha Switzr! I upgraded to bifocals and sadly they actually DO help, LOL. I have had glasses since I was 5 yo so the seeing fineprint for me has never been good. I always take mine off to see the super small text in the Beckett Annuals, just works better. =)
