I was a bit surprised to see my name pop up for 2016. It seemed after a hot start for a year or two my contributions plummeted. I hope to correct that next year. I think I should be able add some more scans, and would like to add more checklists. Though I will say I did do a lot of team validations and adding birthdays and such so at least I'm still doing stuff. I can't wait to see the 2017 awards.

Wow I'm an "all-star!" Like Sandyrusty said, I signed up a few years prior to 2016, but 2016 was the year I really first started to participate, first by scanning then trading, now I visit the Things to do link quite often. This is the greatest site, not just card collecting site, I am aware of and am thankful to all that work here from Admin right down to the newest member.

I joined in early 2016 so it's nice to finally see the year I started to participate on TCDB. I had a good chuckle at seeing my name on the boxing checklist runner up. I think I added 1 boxing checklist.

I do not own a scanner and collect only one team (Reds), so I do not have extras to trade. So I began working on the name and team validation sections, working my through the baseball minor leagues year by year. It is amazing how many names lack information and how many others are attached to the wrong PID. What I did not realize was it was recognized by Admin as a database editor. This is a wonderful site and I thank everyone who contributed anything to the database. What new things await us in 2018?

I doubt to see my name anywhere on this year’s list, maybe an odd spot in the miscellaneous section. I may have some spots in 2018 as I’ll start scanning cards and adding checklists.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them. |

Same here. My "problem" is the fact that I can't stay doing any one thing too long. Scanning/cropping/uploading bores me after a dozen or so. I can only go researching and compiling so many checklists. The glossary has been under control (and others are helping). So, I guess I did a little here and a little there all over.
That said, I really appreciate the honor of being named to one of the "teams", especially because that's what I've been saying all along, that we're a team here, and together we can accomplish great things (even those others said couldn't be done).
Congratulations to all who have been named so far.

I joined here in 2016, but didn’t really start using it all the time until later in the year. Excited to see if I get any mentions for 2017.
