I noticed that there is a white border version and a blue border version of this set. The set listed on TCDB appears to be the white border version. Does anyone know the difference? (Other than one's white and one's blue.....I know that's what ran through David's head)

I keep finding references to a Canadian version, but both the white and blue borders say printed in the USA.

The Canadian version has blue borders but has bilingual text on both front and back. It is listed here. Never saw a unilingual blue border version before.
Besides the blue borders and the French text the Canadian edition has another major difference: The US version consisted of 10 sticker/card combos, requiring you to peel off the sticker to reveal the (different) card image underneath. For the Canadian edition the stickers (#1-10) and cards (#11-20) were issued separately.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Actually I see several differences on ebay listings. From what I've found, white has character names on front and blue doesnt. White #1 and Blue #1 are both Luke, but different photos as well as the name thing. One is a close up, the other is Luke with light saber drawn.

I just found that too. Also, COM-C has several of each listed as well. It appears that there are two sets with the same checklist but different photos.

Maybe one is the peeled card under the sticker, which might be the other??

I have a couple of the blue border version and the sticker has been removed. I think Billy has a couple with the white border....
