I have this Buck Williams card that I can't find listed.  There are other Court Kings sets by Star listed, but none from this year, and I can't find a checklist for one for this year either.  Any ideas if the set is actually called Court Kings or what it is called if not?

It was a whole series of Court Kings. 2,000 sets of each player were made available. I can't remember if we sold out of these or not. I think we did in 1990. This is one of those areas I still need to get to. I'm still working on the baseball stuff. I have partial checklists floating around, but they don't always give all the info. I usually have to find the sets to get all the info.

I've searched every site I know of with checklists, and even googled it and couldn't find a single mention of a Court Kings set after 1989.

 I guess it's time for someone to snag a copy of the Standard Catalog of Basketball Cards.  I suspect they did a better job of including all these sets.  Beckett has always been very haphazard with their inclusion and accuracy of their Star Company listings.

Beckett didn't like including Star Company cards because they weren't distributed through the "normal" channels - at least that is what they told us back in 1991. We did actually poll our distributors and compile a price guide/checklist of sorts, but that was 23 years ago and I don't have those files anymore. I do have hard copy of most of these checklists - it's just time-consuming going through all of them.
