Card Identification Forum

I have 2 cards from 2002 2003 be a player between the pipes of roman cechmanek. Both are card number m-21 but are stamped on the front 1/10 spring expo and the other is 10/10 spring expo. Anybody have any info on these cards.

They're just cards stamped by BAP/ITG for the Spring Expo from that year. Some collectors value them, but other people don't care much for them.

My wife and I used to go to the Expos (1997 to 2002) ourselves, and we have a bunch of those and plenty from other large shows that they did this for (Montreal and Vancouver stand out in my mind). These particular cards were actually limited to a certain brand and show and in particular, the Expos usually had at least 3 versions: A color xx/10 for Friday, a different color xx/10 for Saturday, and yet another color xx/10 for Sunday. Some shows would also have a 1/1 version, but we don't have many of those, and I cannot remember 14+ years back now. :) I do remember that to get 1 of these xx/10 cards, you had to open a full box at their booth at the show. (Or a dealer did, and then would sell the cards to you - we had a great guy who always managed to snag the different Yzerman cards for us.)

Thanks for the input. For me they are just another card. I was just curious as to why they were stamped.

Some do not like them but I do for my Ultimate Hockey card collection. Trying to get one card for every set and insert made.
